NFC Championship (Jan. 20)

Super Bowl XLVII (Feb. 3)
Bears over Patriots

NFL MVP: Tom Brady, Patriots
With threats in Gronkowski, Hernandez, Welker, and Lloyd, look for Brady to have his usual stellar performance.

Offensive Player of the Year: Drew Brees, Saints
Should put up big numbers again in the Saints' pass-happy offense, and his leadership will be looked upon to lead the team in place of Sean Payton.

Defensive Player of the Year: Patrick Willis, 49ers
A monster inside, possibly the best all-around linebacker in the NFL today. Somewhat appropriate he wears #52, as he reminds me a lot of Ray Lewis.

Offensive Rookie of the Year: Russell Wilson, Seahawks
Dual-threat, accurate QB who has potential and a high ceiling. As recently as 2 weeks ago, I would've picked RGIII or Luck, but Russell has turned me into a believer.

Defensive Rookie of the Year: Luke Kuechly, Panthers
He's expected to take on a major role for the Panthers defense, and he has a high ceiling, and high potential at linebacker. If there are injuries, expect Kuechly to take on a bigger role.

Coach of the Year: Romeo Crennel, Chiefs
After the failures and disappointments in Cleveland, the Chiefs will build on their strong finish last year and win the AFC West.

Teams that made the playoffs last year I think will miss them this year:
Steelers, Falcons, Lions

Teams that missed the playoffs last year that I think will make them this year:
Chiefs, Eagles, Bears

Teams that I think will not make the playoffs, but don't be too surprised if they do:
Bills, Steelers, Titans, Chargers, Raiders, Cowboys, Lions, Falcons, Panthers, Seahawks

Dark horse contenders:
Broncos, Bengals, Eagles, Saints

Most improved teams of 2012:
Chiefs, Panthers, Bills

Most disappointing teams of 2012:
Steelers, Chargers, Cowboys, Lions, Falcons
