I haven't been here on a minute, since I've been so damn busy with school. Today, I celebrate 20 years on this Earth. In my lifetime, I've seen a lot and done a lot. Here, I'd like to make a list of something that I've thought about in my life.
20 Greatest NBA Players of All Time (from a combo of observation, YouTube, and NBA Classics on NBA TV)
1. Michael Jordan: In a league of his own.
2. Magic Johnson: Look up playmaker in the dictionary, his picture is next to the definition.
3. Kareem Abdul-Jabbar: The only player you associate a specific shot with.
4. Bill Russell: The ultimate champion.
5. Wilt Chamberlain: 100 points. That is all.
6. Larry Bird: Deadly jump shot, legendary shit talking skills.
7. Oscar Robertson: Way before my time, but amazing nonetheless.
8. Kobe Bryant: Unlike any other player of his generation.
9. Tim Duncan: Best power forward of all time.
10. Jerry West: The Logo, the GM whose contributions have played a role in every Laker championship since 1980.
11. Hakeem Olajuwon: For a 2 year period, no player in the world was better.
12. Shaquille O'Neal: Much as I loved him as a Laker, much as he was dominant, got the feeling he never reached his full potential.
13. LeBron James: Not quite top 10 yet, but give him another couple of years, and he will be.
14. Karl Malone: A beast in the paint, a force to be reckoned with.
15. Charles Barkley: A tough dude down low, might be better remembered for his TNT gig among younger fans.
16. Moses Malone: One of the only dudes who could give Kareem problems.
17. Elgin Baylor: The original high flyer, invented a lot of the insane moves you see today.
18. Julius Erving: Would be higher had he spent more time in the NBA.
19. George Gervin: Meet the late 70s and early 80s version of Kevin Durant.
20. Scottie Pippen: He was beyond a sidekick, he was the other reason why the Bulls won 6 rings.
